Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the WorkersHub website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using WorkersHub, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.

In these Terms, "WorkersHub", "we", "us", and "our" refer to WorkersHub, while "you" and "your" refer to any person accessing or using the Services.

We may provide additional rules, guidelines, or terms for particular features or services. Where applicable, those additional terms form part of these Terms.

WorkersHub provides a platform designed to help clients and workers discover relevant opportunities and each other based on information available on the platform, including skills, occupations, locations, and job information.

WorkersHub may also provide features that help users organise and record aspects of work arrangements, including Work Sessions and Work Receipts.

Unless expressly stated otherwise by WorkersHub, we are not an employer, employee, agent, contractor, guarantor, insurer, or representative of users, and we are not a party to independent agreements made between clients and workers.

You may use WorkersHub only if you are legally capable of entering into an agreement under applicable law and are permitted to use the Services in the location from which you access them.

WorkersHub is currently intended primarily for users seeking or offering relevant work opportunities in Nigeria. We may change the availability of the Services or restrict access to certain locations at our discretion.

You must not create or use an account where doing so would violate applicable law or these Terms.

Certain features of WorkersHub require you to create and maintain an account. You agree to provide information that is accurate, current, and complete and to update your information when necessary.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account. You must notify us as soon as reasonably possible if you believe your account has been accessed or used without your authorization.

You must not impersonate another person, create an account using false or misleading information, or create an account for another person without appropriate authority.

WorkersHub may take reasonable steps to verify, review, restrict, suspend, or remove accounts where we believe this is necessary to protect the Services, other users, or to enforce these Terms.

You are responsible for your use of WorkersHub and for the information, content, jobs, applications, profiles, and other materials you provide through the Services.

You are responsible for independently evaluating other users, worker profiles, client information, job opportunities, work arrangements, and any information you rely on before deciding whether to communicate, engage, employ, perform work, make payment, or enter into any other arrangement.

WorkersHub does not replace your own judgment, due diligence, or responsibility to take reasonable precautions when interacting with other users.

Workers may provide information such as their name, skills, occupation, location, profile description, contact details, and other information made available through their profile. Clients may provide information such as their name, location, job requirements, and other information relevant to opportunities posted through WorkersHub.

You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to provide and share that information through the Services.

The availability or display of a profile, job, skill, location, or other information on WorkersHub does not constitute an endorsement, certification, guarantee, or verification by WorkersHub unless we expressly state otherwise.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that jobs and opportunities they post are accurate, lawful, and not misleading. Workers are responsible for ensuring that information contained in their profiles and applications is truthful and does not materially misrepresent their skills, qualifications, experience, or availability.

Posting a job does not guarantee that an application will be received, that a suitable worker will be found, or that the job will be completed. Applying for a job does not guarantee that a worker will be selected, employed, or engaged.

WorkersHub does not guarantee the outcome of communications, applications, negotiations, employment, engagements, or other arrangements independently made between users.

WorkersHub may provide a Work Session feature that allows participating users to record certain events and information relating to a work arrangement, including events such as the initiation, acceptance, activation, completion, cancellation, and relevant timestamps of a session.

Where a Work Session requires acceptance by another participating user, the session will operate according to the functionality made available through the Services. Users are responsible for reviewing relevant information before accepting, starting, ending, or otherwise participating in a Work Session.

A Work Session is a platform feature for recording relevant information and events. Its existence does not by itself create an employment contract, establish a legal relationship, guarantee payment, guarantee completion or quality of work, determine fault or liability, or resolve a dispute between users.

WorkersHub may provide Work Receipts containing information associated with a work arrangement or Work Session, based on information available to the Services when the receipt is generated.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a Work Receipt reflects information recorded or provided through WorkersHub and does not constitute an independent verification by WorkersHub that work was completed, that payment was made, that the information is accurate, or that either party fulfilled their obligations.

A Work Receipt should not be treated as a tax invoice, legal determination, guarantee, or independent proof of payment unless WorkersHub expressly provides functionality stating otherwise or applicable law requires a different treatment.

You remain responsible for content and information you submit, upload, publish, or otherwise make available through WorkersHub, including profile information, job descriptions, skills, work-related information, images, and other materials.

By providing content through the Services, you grant WorkersHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt where technically necessary, and display that content to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and provide the Services.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide your content and that your content does not violate applicable law or the rights of another person.

We may remove, restrict access to, or review content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with applicable law, protect users, or protect the integrity and security of the Services.

Unless WorkersHub expressly introduces a payment feature for a particular purpose, WorkersHub does not process, hold, guarantee, insure, or provide escrow for payments independently arranged between clients and workers.

Clients and workers are responsible for agreeing on the terms of their work arrangement, including any price, payment method, payment timing, and other financial terms that may apply between them.

If WorkersHub introduces paid features, credits, subscriptions, or other transactions in the future, additional terms relating to pricing, payment, refunds, and the use of those services may apply.

You must not use WorkersHub to provide false or misleading information, impersonate another person, commit or facilitate fraud, post fraudulent or deceptive jobs, misrepresent your identity, skills, qualifications, experience, or intentions, or otherwise deceive another user.

You must not use the Services to harass, threaten, abuse, exploit, discriminate against, or unlawfully harm another person, or to request, offer, arrange, or facilitate unlawful activities.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to WorkersHub, interfere with the security or operation of the Services, introduce malicious software or harmful code, improperly scrape or collect data, circumvent technical restrictions, or use automated systems in a manner that abuses the Services.

You must not submit content that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights.

WorkersHub may rely on third-party services and providers to operate certain aspects of the Services, including infrastructure, authentication, notifications, analytics, app distribution, and other technical functionality.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the terms, policies, and practices of the relevant third party. WorkersHub is not responsible for services independently provided by third parties except to the extent required by applicable law.

WorkersHub provides a platform through which users may discover information and opportunities. We do not guarantee the identity, qualifications, skills, experience, availability, conduct, reliability, safety, legality, suitability, quality, or performance of any user, worker, client, job, service, or work arrangement.

We do not guarantee that information provided by users is complete, current, or accurate. Users are responsible for making their own decisions and carrying out any checks they consider appropriate before entering into a work arrangement or interacting with another user.

The display of a worker profile, client profile, job, application, rating, record, Work Session, or Work Receipt does not constitute a recommendation, endorsement, certification, or guarantee by WorkersHub unless expressly stated otherwise.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WorkersHub will not be responsible for losses or damages arising from independent interactions, communications, agreements, disputes, payments, work arrangements, or conduct between users.

WorkersHub does not accept responsibility for decisions made by users based on information provided by another user or for the acts, omissions, quality of work, failure to perform, payment disputes, or other conduct of independent users.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

You may stop using WorkersHub at any time, subject to any applicable obligations arising from arrangements independently made with other users.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to all or part of the Services where reasonably necessary, including where we believe that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud or abuse, created a security risk, used the Services unlawfully, or created a risk of harm to WorkersHub or other users.

Suspension or termination of an account does not necessarily remove information immediately where retention is necessary for legitimate purposes, legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.

The WorkersHub name, branding, logos, software, website and application design, text, graphics, interfaces, and other content provided by or on behalf of WorkersHub are owned by or licensed to WorkersHub and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except where permitted by applicable law or expressly authorized by WorkersHub, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit WorkersHub content or intellectual property for purposes not permitted by these Terms.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of WorkersHub intellectual property to you. User content remains subject to the rights and license described in the User Content and Information section of these Terms.

Your use of WorkersHub is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, share, and otherwise process personal data in connection with the Services.

By using WorkersHub, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Services, our practices, applicable law, or other operational requirements.

When we update these Terms, we will publish the revised version and update the relevant "Last Updated" date. Where appropriate and required, we may provide additional notice of material changes.

Your continued use of WorkersHub after updated Terms take effect will be subject to those updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms and your use of WorkersHub will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, except where another applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Services should first be brought to our attention through the contact details provided below so that the parties may attempt to address the matter before taking further action, where appropriate.
